The pack includes information on an introduction to cancer, medical terminology, signposting resources, local contacts, and training sessions on personalised care and communication.

This framework has been created to support the training and development guide, which has been mapped against the national ACCEND framework and can be used to formally capture personal development, in regular 1-2-1s or as part of a Personal Development Review cycle to:
• Identify learning and development needs and inform personal development plans
• Evidence and assess competence
• Support reflective practice
• Monitor and evaluate development
This resource pack has been developed to assist colleagues in Primary Care in completing the Cancer Care Review (CCR) requirements outlined in the NHS Long Term Plan.
